What to Expect:
Get ready to connect with the heart and soul of animal advocacy. Broome Animal Sanctuary provides a safe haven for farmed animals rescued from neglect, abuse, and abandonment. During this engaging and educational walking tour, you’ll meet residents like pigs, cows, goats, and chickens—and learn their inspiring stories of resilience.
🚶 Important Tour Details:
- This is a walking tour over uneven terrain—wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
- Strollers and mobility devices are not permitted due to the rugged nature of the sanctuary grounds.
- Please note that BAS is not a petting zoo. While we may meet some residents up close, respectful behavior is essential to their well-being.
- No loud noises, chasing, or running—let’s keep it peaceful for the animals.
- Lunch will be held in the visitor center, where you can find a produce stand and sanctuary merchandise available for purchase.
đź’š Safety Reminder:
All guests must agree to a safety waiver acknowledging that the tour involves walking on rough terrain and possible animal interactions. Broome Animal Sanctuary is not liable for injury.
🥗 Shared Plant-Based Lunch:
After the tour, we’ll gather for a delicious vegan lunch served after the tour. It’s a great opportunity to relax, meet like-minded people, and enjoy cruelty-free food in a beautiful setting.
