Dan Flowers is one of the newer additions to the Citizens Climate Lobby team, where he is an active member of the New York Gre ater Capital Region steering committee. He gravitated towards working with CCL due to the organization’s tight focus on practical, policy-based solutions to climate change. Prior to joining, Dan volunteered with several environmental non-profits, such as Green Peace and 350.org.
In his professional life, Dan Flowers is an Engagement Manager at CLA, where he brings his expertise in organizational effectiveness and talent development to bear to help leaders, teams, and organizations maximize their people power. Dan applies a consultative approach and systems thinking to help design large-scale interventions focusing on leadership development, talent management, and culture and engagement.
Before joining CLA, Dan wore a number of different hats at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc, with a majority of his time embedded in the Organizational Effectiveness team, and had a brief career in evidence-based family therapy. Dan holds a Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University.
