ABOUT
Wear your paint pants and get primed to advocate for animals. We will start our day by updating and protecting many items on the farm with a new coat of paint. The rabbit barn, decks, picnic tables, and more, are all in need of a fresh coat. There will be a few additional projects to help out with at the sanctuary.
Following our service, we’ll enjoy mini smoothie bowls and bliss balls, courtesy of Bare Blends. During this time, we’ll hear from Brian Shapiro, NY state director for the Humane Society of the United States. He will present a “Lobbying 101” on how you can be the BEST advocate for animals – and a review of animal protection bills now in the state legislature.
