A Letter from CRVN’s New Executive Director

I am incredibly humbled and honored to have the opportunity to advance CRVN’s mission as Executive Director at such an exciting time of growth for our organization. In my role as President and CEO over the last two years, I have truly seen how much the vegan movement has grown in the capital region and what is needed to continue growing and strengthening the vegan community locally.

As 2019 is already being hailed as “The Year of the Vegan” CRVN is poised and ready to continue our role in leading the capital region in all things vegan. We have exciting plans to expand upon our National Animal Rights Day as well as plans to increase the number of VegFest exhibitors by at least 50% in our brand-new beautiful home at the Albany Capital Center.

We are also committed to growing and strengthening our membership by partnering with local vegan-friendly businesses which will allow us to offer exclusive deals to our members. We would also like to continue providing support and encouragement for new vegans and those interested in veganism through workshops, events, and creating content tailored to veganism in the capital region.

CRVN has set some lofty goals for the next couple of years and I have complete confidence that we will not only be able to meet, but surpass them.

Please join me in this journey and be sure to follow our organization as we continue to pave the way for veganism in the capital region.

Sincerely,
