National Animal Rights Day event held in Albany

June 2018 – ALBANY – National Animal Rights Day events were held across the nation on Sunday, including in Albany.

People gathered at West Capitol Park for an event hosted by the Albany Vegan Network. It started with a memorial ceremony for the billions of animals who die every year.

The purpose of the event was to give a voice to all animals and to raise awareness for their rights.
