The 8th Annual Albany VegFest is an informative festival promoting the many benefits of a plant-based diet. The event highlights delicious healthy vegan food, animal rescue shelters, restaurants and nationally recognized speakers. There will be cooking demonstrations, stage activities, music, and a kids area with face painting and arts and crafts. It is an event for the entire family. Enjoy vendors, food sampling, and informative presentations on animal rescue, humane education, animal agriculture on the environment and reducing the risk for chronic disease with diet changes.
Albany VegFest is sponsored by the Albany Vegan Network, a not-for-profit organization of health conscious, compassionate, and dedicated volunteers. The event emphasizes the benefits of a plant-based diet for improving health, protecting the environment and saving the lives of animals.
